KOPJE is an independent monthly. We publish long stories about design, motoring, food, travel, culture, property, sport and business — from Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, and everywhere in between. This is Issue 01. We’re new, on purpose, and we’d rather earn your trust than borrow someone else’s.
We started KOPJE because the country deserves a magazine that takes its stories seriously — and we couldn't keep waiting for someone else to make it.
This is Issue 01. We don't have a back catalogue to hide behind. What we have is a promise: long reporting, real photography on the ground, no recycled press releases, no pretending South Africa is a pitch meeting abroad. Read us, then hold us to it.
